Lucky Libby, new home, new beginning...to be spoiled

THE STORY OF LIBBY THE LUCKIEST WIENER DOG IN THE WORLD
Libby was "rescued." This little dog was left behind when a young
woman moved out of state. The home she left her with already had
two dogs and Libby was left alone out in a yard that was half concrete and half
dirt. When I first saw her, she was playing with a dirty rag. We were told
they didn't want her. She was given to us without any vet records, without
a single toy or a bowl, or a bed, or a collar or leash. She now plays
every day in our lovely backyard lawn with her adopted "sister," another female
dachshund. They both sleep in our bed. They always have a lap to
sit on and snuggle up every evening to watch TV. Libby has a special
toy and enjoys hours of playing drop-the-toy-off-the-edge-of-the-sofa and run
and retrieve it. She is constantly petted and loved and groomed once a week including
a bath and manicure. Libby loves to lie in the sun. In this picture she
is in a classic Libby pose. Looks like she's in a coma!
