It's after 8 pm, and Johnny has finally urinated again and did his other business.
He's still quite weak, and cannot stand up long when I put him on the towel to try and do his thing.
We are a family of animals, so the others came in to see what was happening with our favorite little tough guy, Johnny.
Patches doesn't even like him, but she has compassion. She could sense he is ill and hung around to take a few sniffs and look at him.
Sky, my blue and gold genius, just had to come in and find out what was going on. Not much gets past her, and she climbed around our sick friend, making kissing sounds.
So, now it's about waiting and keeping Johnson, quiet, rested, and hydrated. He turned down some chicken, but licked some of the dog food gravy off my fingers. We still have a ways to go....

Yeah, it;s always hard when our doggies are sick or hurt. Johnson has a fighting chance having had at least one shot. And with the droppers full of fluids (pedialyte or whatever) I'm sure he'll be fine. If and when any fever comes, a baby asprin will fix it. Just keep doin what your doin.
