As I've been talking to people about the pet corner we have created, I have been hearing all sorts of complaints about the costs of spaying and neutering.
There have been many programs, a voucher is available at most veterinary offices which can help offset some of the costs, but there are so many animals up here breeding and the populations only get bigger not smaller.
I've heard now of another group of animal activists trying to get an organization created so that spaying and neutering are free.
Since most vets will agree that the money they make is certainly not from castrating, so it will take some team work to put these types of programs in place and get cooperation.
As this blog will be transfered onto the new website, upcoming the beginning of next year, we will try and cover this issue, help in anyway we can, and get the information to pet owners and potential pet owners.
